Firm History
Overcash Demmitt Architects was established in 1984 and founded on a commitment to the value
of people and the quality of place. We strive to advance the success of our clients by providing
innovative design solutions coupled with the highest level of client service. Our staff of 23
employees includes 14 Architects, 5 Interior Designers, and a full-time 3D Animator.
Our specialized design studios focus on several project types and unique client needs. Each client
is an integral part of the design team whose welcome interaction enables us to develop design
solutions that respond to their specific goals.The partners, Stephen F. Overcash and Tim W. Demmitt,
are always involved in projects from start to finish. Their personal service will assure the
quality of the project, be it architecture, town planning, interior design or architectural graphics.
Overcash Demmitt Architects has a reputation for combining creative problem-solving techniques,
construction knowledge, team dynamics and hard work that bring people and places together in
meaningful community. Located in the burgeoning South End district of Charlotte, North Carolina,
the firm has a growing staff, which consists of a progressive team of people whose professional
enthusiasm is providing the architectural leadership for the Southeast region.
